Brian Ochieng Abajah is a Kenyan actor, commercial model and a rising star in the Film and TV industry. Raised by his grandmother, he attended school in Western Kenya where he discovered his love for the performing arts, often participating in choir and school plays. His first recurring role was a character named Felix on the show ‘Next Meal’ (2019) that aired on local Kenyan Television. He later went on to feature in different theatrical productions such as Radicals (2019), which received two nominations at the Sanaa Theatre Awards for Best Tragedy and Best Costume and starred in multiple short films such as MENstruation (2020) which was screened at The Broadway International Film Festival in Los Angeles and The Women of African Descent Film Festival in New York. Abajah participated in Kenya’s first televised acting competition known as Next Superstar where his poised performance landed him a role in the film Sincerely Daisy (2020), the first Kenyan feature film to premiere on Netflix. He played Corporal Ian in Mission to Rescue (2021) and later landed a guest role as part of an ensemble cast in Showmax’s first original Kenyan series, Crime & Justice. He now has a recurring role in Showmax’s new hit, Single Kiasi as Andrew. In addition to these roles, Abajah has featured in numerous TV commercials for local and international brands.
Outside of acting, Abajah is completing a degree in Criminal Law and enjoys rapping.
